Small and local businesses play a vital role in the vibrancy of any community. For cities facing economic decline, it’s imperative to attract entrepreneurs, support local economies, and think creatively about the relationship between businesses and communities.
How might we spark opportunities to create and support new businesses and social enterprises to reinvigorate economies?
How might we recognise new or alternative economies, offer incentives for consumers to shop locally, or reduce barriers so that new, small businesses can thrive?
